DeXdance has performed throughout the tri-state area, creating over fifteen works sinces it's inception in 2003. Whether engaging a room full of first graders or pushing the boundaries with adults, the ease of performance and the humor of the moment entices even the most wary into a conversation with the dance. DeXdance is very active in New York City and the surrounding area. The company has performed in venues such as The O Room lounge at the Berkeley Carteret Hotel (Asbury Park, NJ), the Ocean County Library, Channel Club, Barnegat Public Dock, and Basically Ballet Studio Theatre in New Jersey, and The Hatch, Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, LOPESA (Loft Performance Salon), as well as the Interborough Repertory Theatre in New York City.
DeXdance was proud to present it's first evening production in July 2005 in NYC, followed by a shared evening of dance, music, and multi media in February 2006. DeXdance just returned from a tour to Livermore Falls, Maine where they successfully participated in the Frantasia Festival of Out Music and Arts.
Future performances include three full evening performances in Philadelphia, PA, Red Bank, New Jersey, and NYC, the Orlando International Fringe Festival, and Summerdance Festival in Santa Barbara, CA.
